Students receive a Health and Safety Institute BLS Provider Certification valid for two (2) years upon successful completion of this course. The intended audience includes:

• Healthcare providers (in and out of hospital)
• Public safety professionals in a variety of
  occupational settings (Police, EMS, Fire)
• Individuals enrolled in healthcare and public safety
  career training programs

Non healthcare providers are welcome to take this class and there are no additional requirements. Optionally they can take our Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED, First Aid course designed for lay-rescuers. HSI Certifications are nationally recognized and equivalent to AHA/Red Cross certifications.
